Madonna speaks out about sexism

madonna-in-layered-fishnets-and-stockingsYesterday I’ve read a NY times article about Madonna. She gave some pretty blunt statements about women, ageing, and even presidential elections. Sexuality didn’t go untouched either.

I thought about her statement saying that it is considered a taboo for a woman to share her own sexual fantasies with the world. It’s an unspoken rule.

She says that if it’s there to please a man, it’s OK, but if the woman is behind something sexual herself and owns it, that’s a taboo.

From my experience, this is true! I had people ask me if I am doing sexy photoshoots because my man likes it. They just assume that there is a man behind it who stirs me in this direction.

When I tell them that this is my own blog / video / idea and so on, they are kind of surprised. Of course later some even wonder if I am a lesbian. Somehow my interests just don’t fit into that gender-appropriate box.

Another stage is when I explain that I am the one who likes stockings and lingerie and I am in a committed relationship, there is this shock of “How does the guy allow this without getting jealous or suspicious?”

I wanted to make it clear to all of you reading, I don’t do any nudity or anything obscene. In the past I had some classy and tasteful lingerie videos on Youtube and of course they are no longer there because people kept on flagging even fully-clothed videos if the outfit involved pantyhose.

Zumanity Show by Cirque Du Soleil in Las Vegas Highlights – Dima Shine, Anna O’Keefe, and Julia Kolosova

Vegas Anna O'Keefe

This February I got a chance to visit Las Vegas and see some of amazing shows.  My favourite, as you may guess, was Zumanity – the first Cirque Du Soleil adult-oriented show, full of lingerie and flirting.

My favourite was an amazing performance by Dima Shine (or Dima Bulkin) with his hand-balancing act.  He is now my hero!  For the act itself he was only wearing artistically cut briefs, showing off his toned body.  However, he greeted the audience at the beginning of the show in the lobby, sitting in riser in a pantyhose-like bodysuit worn underneath his underwear.

Anna O’Keefe had the slimmest body out of all the girls and she had a very beautiful act with a short boy who is a big celebrity because of his flying in the air act that he does hanging by the silks.  The photo that you see was taken in the lobby where she was greeting the guests in a beautiful outfit while wearing opaque nude pantyhose to cover her dance leggings worn underneath.

The main attraction seemed to be the school girl act with the hoops, performed by Julia Kolosova, while wearing a school outfit and footless white stockings.  She is the one on the cover of Zumanity, right in the center of the poster.  Her act was totally unbelievable, considering that she was spinning at least 10 of those hoops while posing in the air.  She deserves a medal!

Zumanity probably represented every main fetish and sexual orientation out there.  Starting with the hostess – a very skillful crossdresser who had a very sharp sense of humour.

You might wonder how I know all the names of the performers.  Well, right after the show I ran to grab the book from the gift store to look up all the names of my superstars.  I just couldn’t resist writing about them.  They deserve to be praised for their hard work.  It’s a fun evening for us, but they devote their lives to create it.

Pantyhose Obsession and Fetish

black opaque pantyhose

f-e-t-i-s-h …  dangerous topic.  Yes, pantyhose obsession is not uncommon.  #1 obsession in the world is shoes.  #2 is pantyhose and stockings.

I had a lot of men telling me that they have a love for hosiery.  Why wouldn’t a man be attracted to such a feminine garment?  I think this is the most classiest kink out there.

Some have difficulty explaining to their partner about why they like it so much.  You can’t explain it, it’s just the way you are!  How can we possibly give rational explanations to our sexual preferences?  Some men tell me that they were attracted to pantyhose since the age of 4 or 5.

If a woman truly loves her man, of course she’d be dying to dress up in clothes that make him want her so badly!  If you think about it, who else would be more important to impress with your outfit than your own lover?  Wouldn’t you want to be attractive for her too?

But what if she is not attentive to your needs and tells you that she doesn’t want to wear this kind of clothing for you, no matter how nicely you ask her?  Well, if she is your girlfriend, as hard as it is to say, I suggest you move on and find another girl that would love to please you.  If this is your wife, it’s time to have a serious conversation – could that be that she feels that her needs are not met, therefore she became cold to your desires?

The reason why I believe that couples should be absolutely compatible when it comes to sexuality is because once you marry, you can’t ask any other person for sexual satisfaction except for your own spouse.  This is what makes this union special – romance, love, sexuality.  Great conversations can exist between friends and co-workers, but sexual  intimacy is something else.
